The ProComSol HM-RS232-ISO Isolated RS232 HART Modem, provides reliable HART communication between a HART transmitter and a Windows-based system using a native RS232 connection. This modem features opto-isolated circuits to protect against voltage surges and signal interference, ensuring stable and accurate communication across the loop. It is powered directly from the RS232 port and requires no external power supply, batteries, or driver installation.

This compact, self-powered unit includes an integrated RS232 female connector and heavy-duty mini-grabber leads for secure HART connections. It meets FieldComm Group specification HCF_SPEC-54 and supports all major HART protocols, including HART 4 through HART 7 and wirelessHART. The modem is compatible with DevCom2000 and a wide range of other HART software for Windows 7 and above. Built with a high-strength ABS plastic enclosure and a durable silicone boot, it’s designed to withstand demanding field conditions. Optional configurations include banana plug connectors and custom cable lengths.
