Description

The Megger MIT1525/2 insulation resistance tester is designed for precise and reliable testing of high-voltage electrical assets. It offers a test voltage up to 15kV and insulation resistance measurement range up to 30TΩ, with ±5% accuracy up to 3TΩ and extended accuracy to 30TΩ. This device features RE>Act technology to enhance measurement reliability by compensating for reabsorption currents and a PI Predictor function to accelerate polarization index testing without sacrificing accuracy.

Equipped with a range of diagnostic test modes including insulation resistance (IR), polarization index (PI), dielectric absorption ratio (DAR), dielectric discharge (DD), polarization depolarization current (PDC), ramp, and stepped voltage tests, the MIT1525/2 provides comprehensive insulation health assessment. Its rugged dual-case design with IP65 protection ensures durability in demanding environments, and the device meets CAT IV 1000V safety standards up to 4000m altitude. Data can be stored onboard with time and date stamps and transferred via USB or Bluetooth to compatible software, supporting efficient asset management. Powered by a fast-charging Li-ion battery, the tester offers approximately 4.5 hours of continuous operation and includes a 3m lead set with large insulated clips rated for 15kV.
