The ifm efector SV Series Vortex Flow Meter uses the vortex shedding principle, where liquid flows around a bluff object, to measure flow rate in a pipe. These flow meters accommodate a wide range of cooling applications with flow measurement capabilities from 0.3 to 26 gallons per minute and temperature sensing from 14 to 194 degrees Fahrenheit. Multiple output options including dual analog signals, PNP/NPN switching, frequency outputs, and IO-Link connectivity provide flexible integration with existing control systems, while standard NPTF threaded connections in half-inch and three-quarter-inch sizes with rotatable fittings simplify installation across various pipe configurations.
