Vermont Business Magazine recognizes the five fastest-growing Vermont businesses in five categories over the last 5 years. Instrumart was named to this list in 2009, 2010, 2013 and 2014. In 2012, Instrumart was the recipient of the newly added “10x10” category, to honor the ten fastest growing Vermont businesses over the past ten years. Instrumart was #5 on the list with an incredible 444% growth rate.

Fuji allows access to ultrasonic flow meters, oxygen analyzers and recorders

1995- Bought entire 12K sqft Leroy Road location

1994- Tenth Employee

1991- Moved out of Bob's kitchen

Leroy Road location started with 2,500sqft of 12,000sqft- Double the space in the next year.

1990- First engineer hired

Bob hires his first engineer and the idea that, "There's an engineer behind everything we sell," is born

1989- First employee hired

After a successful first year, Bob hires his first employee to manage the office, handle shipping and receiving, and answer the phones.

1988- Founded by Bob as Total Temperature Instrumentation

After several years as a salesman for a process controls company, Bob hears about an opportunity with Fuji Electric, a Japanese electronics manufacturer, and convinces them to give him North American distributorship for their temperature controllers.
