Description
The Optris CTi 4ML infrared pyrometer is designed for precise temperature measurement of low-temperature targets in fast industrial processes. It measures temperatures from 32 to 932°F with a spectral range of 2.2 to 6µm, ensuring accurate detection across a wide range of materials. The sensor provides a 10:1 optical resolution and an optional close focus lens with a 5mm spot size at 50mm distance. The CTi 4ML features an exposure time of 110µs and a response time of 320µs, for accurate readings in rapid process environments. Measurement uncertainty is ±(0.3 % of reading 3.6°F), with repeatability of ±0.29°F.
The sensing head operates in ambient temperatures from -4°F to 158°F and carries an IP65 (NEMA 4) protection rating. Output options include analog signals (0/4 to 20 mA, 0 to 5/10 V, thermocouple K) and digital communication through USB, Modbus, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, RS485, or RS232 interfaces. The pyrometer operates on 8 to 30 V DC power and supports configuration through CompactPlus Connect software or the IRmobile App.
