Description

The Megger MIT1025/2 insulation resistance tester is a reliable and easy-to-use tool for checking the insulation of high-voltage electrical equipment. It provides a wide measurement range from 10kΩ to 20TΩ at 10kV and delivers accurate results with ±5% accuracy up to 2TΩ and ±20% up to 20TΩ. Users can choose from standard test voltages at 500V, 1000V, 2500V, 5000V, and 10,000V or set custom voltages for different testing needs.

The MIT1025/2 includes diagnostic modes such as IR, PI, and DAR tests as well as Megger’s patented PI predictor, which speeds up long insulation tests by predicting results early. Its exclusive RE>Act mode boosts precision by compensating for insulation currents that could affect readings. This device features a rugged dual-case design and a CAT IV 600V to 3000m altitude along with multiple voltage warning levels to ensure operator safety in all environments. The fast-charging battery provides up to 4.5 hours of continuous operation at 10kV and the unit can also be run on AC mains for extended jobs.
